Two candidates are fighting for the post of President of the Republic of Abkhazia - Badra Gunba and Adgur Ardzinba. Before the start of voting, members of election commissions counted all ballots in the presence of observers. According to the Abkhaz media, more than 134,000 people are included in the main list. According to the laws of Abkhazia, a second vote will be considered valid if at least 25% of the citizens of the republic included in the voter lists take part in the elections.
