The raiders damaged the ballot box and fled the scene. When trying to arrest the attackers opened fire on police officers. Two people were injured in the incident. Marchand told RIA Novosti that the hospital was not taken people who were at the polling station, and the attackers. In the second round of the presidential elections of Abkhazia, Vice President Badra Gunba and former Economy Minister Adgur Ardzinba claimed the highest post in the republic. The voter turnout exceeded 70%. The preliminary results of the elections are scheduled to be announced on March 2.
