The fight took place in Riyadh and ended with a knockout in the sixth round. Both fighters during the fight once sent each other to knockdown. After the victory, Cabayel received a temporary belt from the world champion in the versions of WBA, WBC and WBO Alexander Usik, reports RIA Novosti. Cabayel won the 26th victory in 26 professional fights. For Zhang, this was the third defeat with 27 wins and one draw. In mid-December 2024, the World Boxing Council, taking into account medical conditions, temporarily banned Usyk, as well as British Tyson Fury, from boxing.
