📝 Summary

Magadan volunteers sent a warm greeting from home to the special operation fighters. So that the guys wouldn't forget the taste of homemade soup and could feel the aroma of home cooking even in field conditions, Lyubov Karanda created a recipe for the most hearty soup "Golden Kolyma." It has already been appreciated by soldiers from the Far East, as it reminds them of the harsh Okhotsk Sea, salty breeze, and vivid sunsets.

Over the course of two years, the hostess at her home prepared 15 thousand portions of dry mixes that just need to be poured with boiling water. The entire production operates thanks to the voluntary assistance of caring residents and with the support of the regional resource center. Into the boiling water goes Pacific squid, the basis of the future soup. Volunteer Lyubov Karanda literally cooks for a whole regiment of soldiers. For the second year, she has been sending portions of quick homemade food to the special military operation fighters. She allocated one room in her private house for production. The main equipment is dehydrators or air dryers. Through the machine pass Alaska pollock, cod, shrimp, seaweed, and vegetables. Two thousand portions for field kitchens: energy bars, dry aspic, and mainly soups. Clarifying the recipe once again, which she created through trial and error, Lyubov begins her culinary magic. The dried ingredients just need to be poured with boiling water and left to infuse for a few minutes. The "Golden Kolyma" consists of 10 ingredients: fish, shrimp, seaweed, bulgur or rice, potatoes, dried tomatoes, onions, carrots, paprika, salt, pepper, and bay leaf. It may seem like only one hostess is cooking, but in different cities, on different kitchens, volunteers cook together. In the community where recipes are shared, there are 300 people from different regions of Russia. "They don't have the opportunity to make it, but they also want a seafood soup, a fish one, I say, no problem, there is no issue with fish, there is with meat, I can send them the ingredients, I sent them red fish," noted Lyubov Karanda, a volunteer. Fishermen help with seafood and fish, wholesale entrepreneurs share vegetables and fruits. Volunteers deliver a "warm" greeting from home to the frontline fighters. In each package, there is a little more than just soup, in each portion - care and support from the rear.
