The purpose of the exercises is to improve piloting skills in the difficult climatic conditions of the Arctic
Ship helicopter pilots performed scheduled flights in the sky over the Murmansk region. About it GTRK "Murman" reported in the press service of the Northern fleet. The crews of the Ka-27 rotorcraft during the training practiced interaction with ground services, searched for, found and monitored the submarine of the conditional enemy. During the flights involved more than 10 crews and almost 40 people of the engineering staff of the regiment. The exercises were held as part of combat training. The goal is to improve piloting skills in the difficult climatic conditions of the Arctic during periods of a sharp change in weather conditions and temperature changes from plus to minus.
