Beekeepers from the Tomsk region won prizes in most categories of the international honey competition, which was held within the framework of the Moscow Congress "Bee and Man: Russia and Friendly Countries". This is reported by the press service of the regional administration.
The competition gathered more than 800 participants from 35 countries, and more than 600 samples of honey were presented to the jury. Alexander Belik from Tomsk district won bronze in the category "Dark polyfloral honey". Konstantin Starodubtsev from Kozhevnikovsky district became a silver medalist in the nomination "Bright monofloral honey". Sergey Pesennikov from Zyryansky district and Vladimir Kudel from Asinovsky district shared the second place in the category "Bright polyfloral honey". Fedor Gulyaev from Zyryansky district won bronze in the nomination "Cell Honey". I sent a sample of honey to the competition, which I will sell to my customers. I have a nomadic apiary, I take my bees away from farmland. Next to the apiary, Ivan-tea blooms, yellow and field, nausea, meadow cornflower. I only pump honey once, in the second half of August. I think that is why my honey passed the spectral analysis of the competition and the jury liked its maturity and taste, said beekeeper Sergey Pesennikov. Inna Voskresenskaya from the Tomsk district won gold medals for compositions made of brunt wax in the nomination "Wax products". Her works “New Year’s Tale” and “Family of Beekeepers” were created together with children from kindergarten No 38 in Tomsk.
