As reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Health, a man sought medical help after falling from a height. During the diagnostic process, several closed injuries were found, including a fracture of five ribs. It was also revealed that his left lung had collapsed, causing his stomach to shift and compress his heart. According to the deputy chief surgeon Sergey Polikarpov, the man had difficulty breathing and moving. Specialists performed an emergency laparotomy, restored the position of the stomach, and repaired the diaphragm defect. The operation was successfully completed. The man is currently at home.
