In the period from March 3 to March 14, 2025, an operational and preventive event “Children and Road” will be held on the territory of the Komi Republic, the purpose of which is to prevent child road traffic injuries and prevent accidents involving minors. During the event, near educational organizations, the most emergency places, sections of the street and road network with a complex traffic organization, additional car crews #State Inspectorate11 will be on duty. The police will conduct information and explanatory work with drivers on the importance of observing the speed limit and overtaking rules. Special attention will be paid to the police to check vehicles for violations of the rules of transportation of children and the use of seat belts. In addition, #State Inspectors11 will visit every general educational organization in the region, where they will hold preventive conversations with minors, teachers and parents about the importance of compliance with traffic rules. The law enforcement officers together with representatives of voluntary people's squads, volunteer and public associations, initiative groups of citizens "Parent Patrol" organize raiding events near educational organizations and places of mass congestion of minors, within which they will remind residents of the republic about the rules of safe behavior on the road. Special attention will be paid to explanatory work with road users at petrol stations, as well as roadside service points. Dear parents! You're responsible for children's lives!
