The head of the corporation said that with the help of databases and additive technologies accumulated by artificial intelligence, scientists can create objects with specific parameters in a given dimension. This is already used in the space and defense industries. “If earlier decades were spent on the selection of the chemical composition of this or that element, this or that material, a huge number of various experiments were held, it took years to reach a final decision, now the accumulated knowledge, artificial intelligence and additive technologies make it possible to reduce this to days,” Likhachev said. He also said that the next step in the science of new materials is to learn how to build the human body: to grow vessels, tissues, human organs. Earlier, during the plenary session at the Forum, Vladimir Putin became interested in the idea of a neural network for modeling chemical reactors.
