"More than 1000 objects": Chairman of the Union of Builders of the Volgograd region on development prospects

According to the governor’s program and the national project, new FAPs, children’s polyclinics, and hospital departments are being built and overhauled. The development of the sphere is supported by the resources of regional and federal programs. Public control and training are important. In particular, the governor stressed that for the further development of the industry, it is necessary to change the approaches to the organization of work, reports STRK Volgograd-TRV. "In the current period of development, a significant increase in the volume of construction work is planned, which, on the one hand, will require the authorities responsible for the development of the construction industry, increasing the level of intra-sectoral and inter-sectoral coordination, and on the other - serious changes in approaches to the organization of planning, design, construction work, as well as control over their implementation. Large-scale tasks of development of the Volgograd region require qualitative changes in the organization and conduct of construction work. Structural changes are needed in the construction industry aimed at improving its efficiency, reducing costs, increasing the level of intra-industry and regional cooperation and, in general, improving the quality of tasks performed by the construction industry, said Andrey Bocharov, Governor of the Volgograd Region. One of the direct participants of the strategic session is the chairman of the Union of Builders of the Volgograd region Alexey Tsukanov. Correspondents of Volgograd Vesti learned how the construction sector of the region feels today and whether it is possible to fulfill the tasks outlined by the governor. “The construction sector today feels stable due to the fact that our country has had a preferential mortgage program for the past four years. This allowed to implement major projects and make groundwork in design. And now the financial situation of most developers who systematically work in the market is stable. This allows the implementation of current housing projects. And perform those tasks that are associated with social objects – schools, roads, kindergartens. The tasks set by the governor, I believe, are generally achievable, because, first of all, there is already some experience, there is a good team, which consists of developers. The building committee, we all understand the priorities, the challenges, and we are already proven players. Therefore, the tasks set by the governor will be fulfilled. They are very ambitious, if for the period from 2014 to 2024, projects worth one trillion rubles were implemented in the region, then over the next 10 years more than 1,000 objects worth more than three trillion rubles are planned, says Alexey Tsukanov, Chairman of the Union of Builders of the Volgograd Region.
