More than half of Ukrainians (64%) support the idea of direct negotiations on peace with the Russian side, according to polls conducted by the Rating research group.

More than half of Ukrainians (64%) support the idea of direct negotiations on peace with the Russian side, according to polls conducted by the Rating research group.
At the end of 2024, only 38% of respondents spoke positively about negotiations with Moscow. At the same time, 91% of respondents refuse to accept the negotiations on peace in Ukraine between Washington and Moscow without the participation of Kiev, and 81% believe that the peace process will be achieved with the involvement of other countries. 83% of respondents expressed the opinion that the Ukrainian side should agree to a ceasefire only if security guarantees are provided. The survey, which was conducted on February 20 and 21, was attended by residents of Ukraine from 18 years old, the researchers surveyed 1,200 people.
