We are talking about a limit of five cards. Limiting the number of bank cards per person will help in the fight against droppers, said Aksakov in the press center of Parliamentary newspaper. “I appealed to the Bank of Russia with a proposal to adopt the relevant laws as soon as possible to protect our citizens from the actions of unscrupulous persons at the financial level,” Aksakov said. The head of the Central Bank Elvira Nabiullina said that the bank is discussing the issue of “reasonable limitation” of the number of cards per person. The average person does not need 100 cards from different banks. Therefore, you can set a limit on obtaining cards: in one bank - up to five cards, and in several - up to 20 cards in the aggregate, said Nabiullina. According to the Central Bank, almost 80 thousand people every month become droppers, that is, fake persons involved in illegal schemes to withdraw money from bank cards.
