Earlier it became known that a mistake is contained in the resolution "On the list of objects of historical and cultural heritage of federal (all-Russian) significance located in St. Petersburg." The document describes the place "where on January 27, 1837, the duel between the poet Pushkin A.S. and Dantes E. took place." It is assumed that the authors of the resolution confused Georges Dantes with the character from Alexander Dumas' novel "The Count of Monte Cristo" Edmond Dantes. On February 13, the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin asked the head of the Committee on Culture Olga Kazakova to look into the situation.
