The former head of the traffic police of the Timashevsky district will go to prison and pay a fine for mediating a bribe in an especially large amount - two million rubles. This decision was made by the district court. According to the investigation, in 2022, the subordinates of the former policeman were suspected of receiving a bribe of 10 thousand rubles. To close the criminal case, the chief state traffic inspector of the district offered to give another bribe – the investigator. But the SC officer reported this proposal to the superiors. Operatives of the regional department of the FSB developed an operation to detain the former head of the traffic police. The scenario was simple: by agreement with the security service, the investigator, after persuasion, had to agree to receive the money. As a result, the bribe was detained and sent to trial. The sentence is 3 years in prison and a fine in the amount of that bribe is 2 million rubles. Also, the werewolf in uniforms was deprived of the right to hold positions in the civil service. The verdict has not entered into legal force, the joint press service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory reports.
