The Pompidou Centre in Paris is closing for renovation. On March 10, the permanent exhibition will cease to work, temporary exhibitions can be visited until September of this year, according to the museum’s website. The renovated arts center is scheduled to open in 2030, but exhibits from its collection will be shown in exhibitions in museums in Paris and France and abroad in the next five years. The main platform will be the Paris Grand Palais (Grand Palace) on the banks of the Seine, near the Alexander III Bridge. It is planned to hold four exhibitions a year. They will be accompanied by film screenings, performances and meetings with artists. A series of cultural events will start in April. The major exhibition "Kandinsky: Music of Colors" will open in October at the Museum of Music of the Paris Philharmonic. Visitors will see about 200 works and objects from the workshop of the founder of abstractionism. Also, exhibits from the collection of the Pompidou Center will be part of exhibition projects in the Louvre, the Orsay Museum, the Orangerie Gallery, in museums in Amsterdam, Madrid, Barcelona, New York and others.
