Participants of the rally in Chisinau opposed the censorship of the Moldovan authorities. They also demanded the resignation of President Maia Sandu.

The rally was organized by the Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova. In addition to demanding Sandu’s resignation, the protesters criticized the Action and Solidarity Party (PAS), which supports her. “Down with Maya Sandu!”, “Stop censorship!”, “Down with the PAS mafia!”, “Stop mocking us!”, the protesters chanted. Police officers are present at the protest site, but they do not interfere. Earlier, former President of Moldova and leader of the Party of Socialists of the Republic Igor Dodon said that 4,000 people gathered near the presidential administration building. They demanded the resignation of the government and early presidential and parliamentary elections.
