Deliveries of ice cream fish amounted to $ 19 million (3 billion yen, + 10%), fillets and fish meat - $ 6.1 million (948.9 million yen, + 56%), shellfish - $ 2.3 million (354.3 million yen, - 39%), dried, salted or smoked fish - $ 207.9 thousand (32.5 million yen, a reduction of 11 times). Russia retained the second place among the suppliers of seafood to Japan, RIA Novosti notes. Norway took the first place ($ 10.6 million or 16.48 billion yen). The top five suppliers also included Malta, Spain and Britain. Meanwhile, the head of Rosrybolovstvo Ilya Shestakov said that Russia supplies seafood to 90 countries.
