The National Museum opened an exhibition of works by Yuri Abisalov

The National Museum has opened a personal exhibition of works by the Honored Artist of Russia Yuri Abisalov. The exhibition is called “The House Where I Live.” Each work of the master reflects his impressions of childhood, youth and homeland. Some of them were seen by the public for the first time. The opening of the exposition was visited by colleagues of Yuri Abisalov, members of the Union of Artists of Russia, cultural figures, lovers of fine arts and our film crew. There's nothing better than home. Art inspired by native landscapes, unforgettable aromas and spiritual harmony always carries an incomparable, special mood. Artists often draw strength from distant childhood, when the idea of creating and creating is just emerging, and Yuri Abisalov’s personal exhibition proves this. The concept of the exhibition “The House I Live in” is filled with the author’s warm memories of his native land. The transmission of the atmosphere of the beloved republic, nostalgia for why home - all this is served in bright colors written in a special artistic style of Yuri Abisalov, which fully conveys the sincere love and devotion of the artist. The unique language of Yuri Abisalov tempers. Being deeply symbolic, intellectual and multi-layered, it is at the same time ironic and accessible to perception. The artist’s style formula, which combines images of contemporary Ossetian life, the recent past, the world of traditional culture and biblical subjects, is highly valued not only in Russia but also abroad. The exhibition "The House I Live In" features 40 works. Each in its own way reflects the author’s impressions of childhood, youth and everything that is close to his heart. Yuri Abisalov, Honored Artist of Russia: I decided to do it here because my house is here. I like the name because some of my paintings are about the house. The opening of the personal exhibition was attended by colleagues of Yuri Abisalov – members of the Union of Artists of Russia, cultural figures, lovers of fine arts. Chairman of the Parliament of North Ossetia Taimuraz Tuskayev thanked Yuri Abisalov for his great contribution to the cultural heritage of the republic. Your work went through a very difficult period in the history of our country, when old ideological attitudes were broken. The works of the master attract with their bold presentation and saturation. Everyone who visited the exhibition of Yuri Abisalov received a whole palette of vivid impressions. I mean, I'm pleased that he didn't just calm down, took his niche, and everything, as it were, sits on his laurels. I always discover something new for myself.” The relatives of the artist also came to enjoy the paintings. For example, the granddaughter of Yuri Abisalov Aida visits every exhibition of his grandfather. She says that her mother’s work has always inspired her. Aida Dzugaeva, granddaughter of Yuri Abisalov: The works of my grandfather also inspire me to new drawings, to some portraits. My grandfather's work encouraged me to take classes to learn the same level of drawing. I went to individual classes, they teach me there, for example, my mother. I want to reach the same heights as my grandfather. The exhibition "The House in which I live" is inspired by a familiar and warm coziness. It is the most precious thing that lies in the soul of every person – love. And therefore it is no wonder that it will be remembered for a long time by lovers of Yuri Abisalov’s work.
