Investigators of the Main Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia established that the crime was committed in 2010. According to the press service of the Ministry, the Ministry of Defense of Russia concluded with CJSC Nienshanz, which was headed by Viktor Yarutov, contracts for the supply and installation of communication facilities for a total of more than 5 billion rubles. In 2010-2011, Yarutov, as part of an organized criminal group, forged accounting documents and made deliberately false information about the cost of communications, stealing more than 130 million rubles from the state. The defendant was put on the international wanted list and arrested in absentia in a fraud case. The property of the accused was seized in the amount of more than 40 million rubles.
