Price increases are expected for 26 brand names from March 1, follows from a letter from Barilla Rus LLC, which is available to Kommersant. By 30%, gluten-free products will rise in price - spaghetti, fusilli and penne rigate. Lasagna, fettuccine, talliatelle, farfalle will grow in price by 20%, most of the company's sauces - by 15%. At the same time, according to the Nielsen marketing agency, the demand for pasta in Russia has been declining for the second year in a row. In 2023, sales decreased by 7.4%, in 2024 - by 1.8%. At the same time, a number of goods in Russia are expected to reduce prices. For example, the founder of the Institute of financial and investment technologies Alexey Primak shared the opinion that the strengthening of the ruble will lead to a decrease in the cost of imported household appliances, electronics and cars.
