In Krasnodar, on suspicion of abuse of powers, Deputy Head of the Department of State Protection of Cultural Heritage Sites of the Kuban Administration Natella Biryukova was detained.

It is an object of cultural heritage of regional importance. Biryukova also contributed to obtaining a building permit for a multi-storey residential complex built by a commercial organization. For this, the trustee Biryukova was given the opportunity to purchase nine apartments in the built complex with an area of 73 to 391 square meters at a much lower cost. The total damage caused by its actions is estimated at more than 320 million rubles. A criminal case on illegal development of a cultural heritage object has been initiated and investigated. Biryukova was detained as part of the preliminary investigation, she was charged with abuse of official powers, which entailed grave consequences. At the request of the investigator, the accused was detained, according to the Telegram channel of the SU IC of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory. In addition, according to the Fifth channel, Biryukova was in close relations with the fugitive oligarch Vigen Sargsyan, in respect of whom the Prosecutor’s office is working on the return of property acquired by criminal means.
