In Russia can sharply rise in price of salmon

According to the publication, the cost of pink salmon, sockeye, salmon and other fish may increase if the bill of the Cabinet of Ministers is adopted, which will change the conditions of this type of fishing in the Russian Federation. So, according to the project, salmon mining companies must by December 30 of this year renegotiate contracts for the use of sites for fishing. The document was submitted to the State Duma in December last year. The authors of the bill estimated the income of the federal budget of the Russian Federation from this type of fishing at about 200 billion rubles. At the same time, business representatives who are engaged in catching, note that they may not have enough financial opportunities to fulfill such requirements. As noted in the material of the newspaper, this will lead to a reduction in catch and an increase in the cost of salmon. At the end of December 2024, Rosrybolovstvo reported that it plans to increase the number of countries to which the aquatic biological resources of the Russian Federation will be exported.
