Italian citizen Cavacchi Alessi has been granted temporary residence in Russia. The documents were handed to him in a solemn ceremony at the passport and visa center in the Moscow region.
Alessi left Italy due to disagreement with the country's authorities' policies and the prevailing ideology there. At the same time, he fully supports and shares the preservation and strengthening of Russian spiritual and moral values. "People here still value traditions, family, friendship, pride," Alessi admitted. Currently, he lives in the Moscow region and has a fiancée who is a Russian citizen. He is a political scientist by education, previously worked in the hotel business, and plans to continue his career. As emphasized by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region, Alessi will be able to obtain a residence permit later and possibly Russian citizenship.
