One of the reasons for the increase in the number of accidents is poor lighting of transitions and approaches to them. For the safety of northerners, the roads are equipped with a new type of zebra. To do this, use devices that create a light corridor. “Pedestrian crossings shall be illuminated by specially installed projectors that display markings. Such “zebras” become visible for 100-150 meters, – noted in the administration of Purovsky district. Smart zebras do not wear off over time and are visible to drivers in the dark and in bad weather. In Urengoy, five projection transitions were installed. The markings of the new type were placed on the streets of the second, third and fourth neighborhoods.
