The Kinel District Court of the Samara Region sentenced the former head of the expert team of the main bureau of medical and social expertise of the Samara Region to 6 years of imprisonment in a general regime colony for illegally establishing disability and bribery.
The court found that from 2019 to 2022, the woman received bribes in the amount of 100,000 rubles for establishing disability for citizens who did not have any illnesses. In addition, an illegally stored pistol was found during the search of her. The court found the defendant guilty and sentenced her for the aggregate of crimes. She is also prohibited from holding positions related to the exercise of organizational and administrative-economic powers in state medical organizations for a period of 4 years, according to the regional prosecutor's office press service.
