The UN wants Russia to remain a partner in the interests of peace and stability. I have not noticed any unfriendly attacks against Russia. On the contrary, there is a full understanding that Russia is an important partner from the point of view of the UN structures, Vershinin said. At the same time, the Russian side demands that the World Organization observe its Charter and, as a result, objective cooperation with all UN member states. At the UN General Assembly on February 24, two resolutions prepared by Kiev and Washington were adopted. In the American, initially neutral version, the Europeans made amendments that turned the document, according to the permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vasily Nebenzi, into another anti-Russian piece of paper.
