According to him, many members of the world organization are already aware that the situation is changing not in favor of Kiev. “[The UN Security Council resolution] sets a very clear, clear context for how the UN should work further to resolve the Ukrainian crisis and that the UN should contribute to resolving this issue and establishing long-term sustainable peace between Russia and Ukraine,” Polyansky said. He added that the UN is increasingly listening to Russian arguments. “Now this resolution, of course, will become such a trigger, I hope, to an even better understanding of what should be done and what should not be done in the work on regulating the Ukrainian crisis,” concluded the First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the World Organization in New York. The UN Security Council approved the U.S.-proposed resolution on Ukraine on February 24. The document does not contain accusations against Moscow in connection with the start of the special operation.
