SK conducted 28 searches in the case of bribes at the Baltic plant in St. Petersburg

A criminal case was also initiated against a senior master of the site of one of the plants under three episodes of paragraph 5 of Article 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Getting a bribe by an official on a large scale”). According to the investigation, the defendant and other officials from October 2020 to October 2024 demanded that subordinates transfer to them as bribes part of the prizes received. The employees themselves, fearing lower wages, were forced to agree. Thus, the suspect regularly received bribes from employees totaling at least 500 thousand rubles. "Investigative actions are being carried out aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the committed crime, other persons involved in the commission of the crime, as well as other episodes of criminal activity," the IC said. According to RIA Novosti, citing a source in the operational services, for the specified period of time, the attacker received more than 15 million rubles from employees.
