SVO fighter from Dagestan Khantemir Sultanov became a hero of the DPR

Sultanov is a native of Derbent district of Dagestan, he serves in the 40th Guards Marine Brigade. In one of the battles he was wounded and lost his leg. With a prosthesis, he returned to the combat zone and has been successfully solving combat missions for a year and a half, continuing to command his unit. Earlier, the head of Dagestan Sergey Melikov said that the name of the commander of the assault squad Sultanov sounded at a recent meeting of Russian President Vladimir Putin with the Governor of the Kamchatka Territory Vladimir Solodov – he told the head of state about the Dagestani hero. Melikov said that after the return of Sultanov with a victory home, his merits will be marked by a regional award, which the head of Dagestan will pass personally. “We are proud that such brave and devoted people as you represent our republic in the ranks of defenders of the Fatherland,” Melikov wrote in his Telegram channel. He also recalled other heroes - natives of the Caucasian Republic: Nurmagomed Hajimagomedov, Temirlan Abutalimov, Magomed Isbakiev.
