According to the Prosecutor General’s Office of Abkhazia, about two dozen people with weapons attacked a polling station opened in a school in the urban-type village of Tsandrypsh, Gagra district. The attackers damaged the ballot box and fled the scene. “At the Musser post, when trying to stop the armed men, the law enforcement agencies reacted harshly and the attackers, who did not obey the police, opened fire on them. Two citizens of the Republic of Abkhazia were taken to the hospital, the TASS news agency quoted Marchan as saying. In the second round of the presidential elections of Abkhazia, Badra Gunba and Adgur Ardzinba claimed the post of head of the republic.
