Since childhood, she studied at the school at the Moscow Conservatory, but due to the political situation, she was unable to enter the university in her native city and continued her education at the Leningrad Conservatory. After graduation, Kushnirskaya successfully held a competition for the Bolshoi Theatre Orchestra, where she worked for more than 30 years. She performed under the direction of such conductors as Evgeny Svetlanov, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Boris Haikin. At the same time, she played in the Ensemble of Violinists of the Bolshoi Theatre, which became a landmark collective for the domestic music scene. In 1995, Marta Kushnirskaya completed her work in the orchestra and devoted herself to pedagogical activities. Later, in 1998, she founded the youth ensemble of violinists "Melody", which collaborated with the stars of the Bolshoi Theatre. The name of Martha Kushnirskaya is associated with a whole era in the history of Russian musical art. Her contribution to the development of culture, her talent and dedication to the profession will remain in the memory of colleagues, students and listeners.
