By 2030, the average salary of Russians will reach 151 thousand rubles, says Candidate of Economic Sciences, associate professor of the Financial University under the Russian government Igor Balynin.
According to him, last year the average salary was 87.9 thousand rubles. In 2025, the economist expects its increase to 100-105 thousand rubles, and in the most optimistic scenario – up to 110 thousand rubles. “I have no doubt that the average salary will continue to rise annually. And by 2030, it will rise to 151 thousand rubles, thus, in comparison with 2020, it will increase by 100 thousand rubles, and in comparison with 2024 - by 63 thousand rubles, Balynin said. One of the main reasons for the growth of the average wage, the economist called the increase in the minimum wage to 35 thousand rubles. Also, this indicator is affected by inflation and the lack of highly qualified employees in the industries and IT-sphere, the analyst believes. Earlier, Rosstat reported that the real average salary of Russians in 2024 increased by 9.1% and amounted to almost 88 thousand rubles.
