In Moscow stopped the sale of poor-quality drugs

According to the investigation, no later than November 2024, the suspects entered into a criminal conspiracy to sell counterfeit and unregistered medicines in Russia. While in Moscow, they purchased the necessary drugs abroad and organized their import into Russia. Then, employees of one of the pharmaceutical companies illegally sold unregistered drugs worth more than 100 thousand rubles. The criminal case was initiated under paragraph "a" of part 2 of Article 238.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Sale of poor-quality and unregistered medical devices committed on a large scale"). At the places of residence of the accused and in pharmacies, searches were carried out, where counterfeit drugs, as well as mobile phones and about 17 million rubles of money were seized. “As part of the investigation <...>, 2 persons have been identified and charged. In the near future, the investigation intends to petition the court to elect the accused a preventive measure, the SK said. Law enforcement agencies continue to work to establish other criminal episodes and accomplices. According to the TV channel “REN TV” with reference to the source, the criminal activity was carried out in the pharmacy “LekarPharm”. In June 2023, the drug Orgalutran worth more than 105 thousand rubles and the drug Ozempick for 18 thousand rubles were sold to front buyers. It is specified that these products can lead to harm to life and health.
