The Chkalovsky District Court of Yekaterinburg sentenced her to two years of imprisonment. The woman is also prohibited from holding managerial positions in educational institutions for two years, as reported by the regional prosecutor's office. The search for the boy began in June 2023, and soon his body was found in a sports bag in the garage. The guardian Veronika Naumova is accused of murder and other serious crimes, her trial is ongoing. Earlier, her husband was sentenced to five years in prison for abusing the child.
