The department explained that in 2021, the defendant submitted fake birth certificates for two girls to regional institutions and as a result, illegally received over 2.2 million rubles from October 2021 to April 2022, including within the framework of maternity capital. The woman was found guilty under the article of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on fraud in obtaining payments in an especially large amount. She will serve her sentence in a general regime correctional colony. She was taken into custody in the courtroom.
