In the Volgograd region, new road signs may appear. According to the standard, they will become mandatory from January 1 of the following year, but they can already be used. As reported by GTRK "Volgograd-TRV", this measure will help reduce visual noise on the roads. For example, a sign saying "Deaf" will inform about pedestrians with hearing impairments. The sign indicating the period of validity of road signs will include specific months. Previously, hours or days of the week were indicated. In addition, a vertical version of the "Stop Line" sign has appeared. Several signs can be combined on one plate. For example, "Recommended speed limit" on a sign with an "Artificial roughness" indicator, and "Parking" - together with an image of "Method of parking a vehicle".
