From August to September 2022, the organizer and his assistant illegally earned 5.3 million rubles for the manufacture of more than nine tons of caviar and fish products. “They purchased and processed aquatic biological resources – salmon fish (keta and pink salmon) without obtaining the necessary veterinary documents,” the report said. The defendants pleaded not guilty. The second defendant received 2.5 years probation and a fine of 300 thousand rubles. The organizer, in addition to the term, also imposed a fine of 500 thousand rubles. The sentence has not yet entered into force.
