Tomsk company responsible for the work of the crematorium may be declared bankrupt

The largest bank in Russia filed a bankruptcy lawsuit against SpetsRitualTomsk LLC, which owed the credit institution 1.6 billion rubles. In January 2025, Sovcombank appealed to the arbitration court of the Tomsk region with a statement on the introduction of a surveillance procedure against SpetsRitualTomsk. The Bank requires to include its claims in the amount of 1.61 billion rubles in the register of creditors of the company. The debt was formed on two loans issued in November 2021 and 2023. As security under one of the contracts is the real estate crematorium. The Alexander Oil Refinery and Sever LLC were involved in the proceedings as third parties. The defendant twice requested an adjournment of the meeting, citing negotiations with the bank on a possible settlement. Although the bank agreed to the first postponement, it opposed the second, pointing to the protracted negotiations. However, the court decided to postpone the case until early April. Earlier we told that the crematorium lost the oven because of debts.
